Korea is the official partner country for FICCI Frames 2013

FICCI Frames, now in its 14th year, will be held from March 12-15, 2013 in Mumbai and Korea will be the partner country. 2013 is the 40th anniversary year of diplomatic ties between both the countries. In conjunction with Korea, FICCI Frames sessions will tackle challenges in co-production between India and Korea, as well as potential avenues of cooperation between the two countries.

Over 40 delegations including HG Kim, vice-president from KOCCA (Korea Creative Content Agency), will be attending this event. There will be several eminent guests, workshops and discussions for creating new business and improving cooperation between India and Korea. On March 12, 2013, Korea Tourism Organisation (KTO) will sponsor the event, ‘Korean Night’, with much fanfare. The evening will comprise of FICCI FRAMES BAF awards ceremony followed by a Korean traditional dance performance and a modern B-boy performance. KTO will introduce Korean cuisine to the distinguished guests present at the event.

KTO will promote Korea as an ideal holiday destination. They will provide detailed information to those interested in visiting the country. Being the 100th year of Indian cinema, FICCI Frames is aptly launching a film tourism initiative called ‘Shoot at Site’, which will attempt to give participants insider’s tips on location scouting, production facilities and services and navigating through the state specific production benefits offered across India.
