ETAA-IAAI sign MOU to work as partners in business

With an aim to work as partners in the Indian travel and tourism trade Enterprising Travel Agents Association (ETAA) and IATA Agents Association of India (IAAI) is scheduled to sign a MOU on the 30 th August, 2012 in Mumbai, which will formally establish their partnership. Through this partnership both associations become affiliate member of each other, enlarging their membership base. The aim is to reach a wider audience work on the strengths and reach of each other’s association.

Speaking on the deal Karl Dantas, president, ETAA said, “ETAA -IAAI will be signing a MOU to work together for the travel fraternity. This will synergise our strengths as well as our aims and objectives to work relentlessly for the benefit of the travelling public who get forgotten by the travel associations in our daily chores. We have opened membership for each other and our aim is to work for the betterment of the trade as a stronger force.”

He further added that the new tie-up will aim to conduct training workshops and educational seminars along with other developmental issues along with talking up industry issues.
