Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS) has secured a ground handling contract with All Nippon Airways (ANA), further strengthening its client portfolio to 14 international airlines at the New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport. ANA launched its Delhi operations with flight services on the Delhi-Narita route, starting October 29, 2012.

In a bid to expand its Indian operations and in view of the increase in demand for direct flights from Delhi to Tokyo, ANA has started its daily non-stop flights between the capitals of both countries. AISATS will be providing comprehensive ground services to the airline which operates the Boeing 767, a wide-body aircraft, for this sector.

Speaking on the new partnership, Willy Ko, CEO of AISATS said, “Being a joint venture between Air India and SATS, AISATS is able to leverage SATS’ global key account network to secure new contracts with premier airlines including ANA. It is our honour to be in this service partnership with ANA and we look forward to a long and successful collaboration. AISATS will continue to strive and exceed the high standards in ground handling services that our customers have come to expect.”
