Indian Air Force (IAF) along with Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) is gearing up to organise the Indian Air Force Show 2015 at the Gateway of India on March 11, 2015. This year marks the 50th year of the 1965 war and the show will be a part of various functions being organised all over the country.

Speaking about the show Satish Soni, joint managing director, MTDC said, “We are proud to partner with Indian Air Force for this event. We are organising this show to remember the soldiers who laid their lives in 1965. We have organised the event across one of the most iconic monument, which will help us to promote Gateway of India as well. Whenever our Army, Navy or Air Force requires any help, MTDC is ready to cooperate.”

Air warrior drill team of 28 people will be performing in salutation to the men and their flying machines, showcasing the discipline and professionalism of the Indian Air Force in consonance with its motto ‘Touch the Sky with Glory’.

The function will feature Air Warrior Drill Team and a cultural programme, followed by performance by the Air Warrior Symphony Orchestra. The Air Warrior Symphony Orchestra will also interact with people and create awareness about the Indian Air Force through music. The Air Warrior Symphony Orchestra has performed in many concerts in several International countries like France, Italy, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Cultural programmes will be presented by MTDC where the artists will depict Maharashtra’s culture.
