Let’s travel together.

Puducherry

Christmas is a nice time to visit Pondicherry, now known as Puducherry. Visitors can join the special Christmas mass in any of Puducherry’s churches, particularly the popular trio of churches inside the Boulevard. Built centuries ago: Our Lady of Angels, Rue Dumas; Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Mission Street and Sacred Heart Basilica, South Boulevard. Stroll down Mission Street and see the lights. One of the European traditions that Pondicherry embraces annually is the Christmas Market or the Marche de Noel, thanks to Amicale de Pondicherry where NGOs and local businesses sell Christmas themed decor, jewellery, clothes, cookies and more. Don’t miss the annual concert at Our Lady of Angels Church or join the Singspirations choir for carols by the beach on December 15 at 6 p.m! End the day by dining at any one of the many restaurants here that offer the traditional turkey dinner during the festive season.
