Let’s travel together.

Woodlyn Park, New Zealand

The Woodlyn Park in Waitomo, New Zealand occupies a 3.5 hectare estate that is home to around 10 units ranging from the hobbit units to the Waitanic Express Train. Each unit brings with it a rich and eventful history which travellers have the opportunity to experience. The unusual lodging experiences include several historic transport units that have been decked out and converted into self-catering accommodation. For example, guests can stay in a Bristol Freighter plane, which was once an aircraft used during the Vietnam conflict by American armed forces. The fully refurbished plane comprises of two self-contained units and is the only accommodation of its kind in the world. At a time, it can accomodate six people and comes with a double bed and two sets of single bunks. Guests can also choose to sleep in the cockpit. The aircraft is set on a level pad between a hillside and a duck pond and the entrance is located on the starboard side with the rear unit entrance on the port side.
