The US Commercial Service offices of the US Consulate in Chennai in association with the Visit USA Committee – India had recently organised a series of travel and tourism roadshows in south India focusing on select tourist destinations in the United States. The three-city series of roadshows focusing on US tourist destinations was organised in Coimbatore, Bengaluru and Chennai.
Companies that participated in the roadshows included Walt Disney World Resort, New York City, California, Hyatt, Carnival Cruise Lines, Hertz, Expedia, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, United/Continental Airlines, and Dream World Travels.
