SpiceJet to add new flights to its winter schedule

SpiceJet, Indian low-cost carrier, is all set to launch new flights in its winter schedule effective from October 25, 2015. SpiceJet will introduce daily direct flights between Goa and Ahmedabad. The airline has also increased flights between Mumbai and Ahmedabad (second flight), Mumbai and Chennai (second flight), Delhi and Ahmedabad (second flight), Delhi and Chennai (third flight), Chennai and Madurai (third flight), Mumbai and Goa (third flight), Kochi and Hyderabad (twice daily), Chennai and Coimbatore (twice daily). The airline has also increased flights between Delhi and Goa by adding a third flight on every Saturday.

Shilpa Bhatia, Senior VP and head of sales and distribution, SpiceJet said, “We are happy to launch a large number of new flights today. With these flights, passengers have many more options to travel to Goa and on some of the frequently flown sectors. We will continue to add new flights in the days to come. Our strategy is paying of well. SpiceJet has consistently flown the highest loads of all airlines in the last few months.”

SpiceJet will deploy its Boeing 737-800s for all the additional flights launched in this new schedule.
