ETW Staff – Mumbai
Singapore Airlines and Vistara have announced a partnership between the KrisFlyer and Club Vistara frequent flyer programmes, providing members more opportunities for accrual and redemption rewards. The partnership enables KrisFlyer members to earn KrisFlyer miles when travelling on Vistara flights, and redeem Vistara flight tickets with their miles. Similarly, Club Vistara members can earn and redeem points when travelling on Singapore Airlines and SilkAir flights. The accrual of miles and points for both frequent flyer programmes will commence in March 2015, and redemption in May 2015.
Lee Wen Fen, senior vice president marketing planning, Singapore Airlines said, “We are delighted to strengthen our cooperation with our airline partner Vistara, and to provide KrisFlyer and Club Vistara members with more ways to earn and redeem when they fly with us. It has been an exciting start to the new year for KrisFlyer, as we continue to expand our choice of airline and non-airline rewards for our members.”
Phee Teik Yeoh, chief executive officer, Vistara said, “We are pleased to enter into this strategic partnership with Singapore Airlines’ KrisFlyer programme, which widens the choices and benefits for Club Vistara members. We are confident that through Singapore Airlines and their sister airline SilkAir’s well-connected network from India, we will be able to broaden our reach and strengthen the value proposition for Club Vistara members.”
