Let’s travel together.

Qatar Airways partners with British Council

Qatar Airways has partnered with British Council, United Kingdom’s international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations, as the official airline partner for the pre-departure session for students who have applied to universities in the UK.

The Education division of the British Council will be organising pre-departure sessions for students across nine key cities in India in association with Qatar Airways. Over 2000 students are expected to attend the orientation meeting where they will get an opportunity to interact with the experts from British Council for an in-depth understanding on the education system in the UK.

Commenting on the partnership, Ihab Sorial, vice president Indian sub-continent, Qatar Airways said, “We are honoured to partner with British Council’s Education Council in an initiative to support Indian student’s education and career in the UK. Qatar Airways has seen a remarkable response from India travellers on its rapidly expanding UK network. We witness a mix of leisure and business travellers on the UK routes, with London drawing the maximum traffic. As a member of the oneworld alliance, we also have an expansive network to seamlessly connect more passengers to the UK.”
