India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB) has announced its flagship event, 9th Conventions India Conclave, to be held from October 13 to 15, 2016 at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, New Delhi. Themed “Harnessing the Potential”, the event’s main objective is to bring together potential conference planners, incentive organisers, convention centre, convention hotels, service providers to one platform providing opportunity of networking and generating new business. This opportunity is also being used to showcase meetings and conference capabilities of Indian industry. This year the convention will focus more on B2B meetings.
Concurrent with the convention, Indian exhibitors will have an opportunity to showcase their products to around 300 international and domestic buyers, association heads and corporate houses.
The conclave will be an opportunity for participants from various disciplines to share their experiences towards the promotion of India’s MICE business. Also with the aim of strengthening the brand positioning of ‘Incredible India’ as a MICE destination, overseas buyers will also have appointments with suppliers from Indian MICE companies.
The meet will provide a forum for opinions, views and standpoints on India’s meetings and conventions market. The speakers and panelists from various segments of MICE will share information facilitating an increasing number of conferences to India and organising the same efficiently.
