Changi Airport named World’s Best Airport for 2015: Skytrax

Changi Airport in Singapore has been voted the World’s Best Airport by air travellers for the third year in a row at the 2015 World Airport Awards, held at Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris, France. This is the sixth time that Changi Airport has picked up this top title at the World Airport Awards.

It is therefore no surprise to see it named again by global travellers as the world’s favourite airport. Changi Airport celebrated further success at the Awards, receiving the award as Best Airport for Leisure Amenities. These leisure amenities include the music bar lounges, cinemas, music deck, swimming pool, napping and rest areas and the in-terminal Transit Hotel. India is the seventh largest market for Changi and has 12 City Links with a great connectivity of 380 Weekly Flights across eight Airlines and the second top destination for Indian travellers. The passenger movement between Singapore and India in 2014 was 3.6 million. This figure includes passengers who used Changi Airport as a transit point to their final destination.
