Turkish Airlines joins UEFA EURO 2016 as airline partner

Turkish Airlines has signed a global sponsorship deal with UEFA EURO 2016 to become the first airline partner in 55-year history of the european football championship. Signed in Paris, the agreement marks the next chapter in Turkish Airlines’ relationship with sport on the world stage.

As part of the campaign, Turkish Airlines will be developing offers such as special charter rates for competing teams to travel to and from the tournament and social media campaigns for the fans. Turkish Airlines flies to 22 of the 24 competing countries and covers six destinations within France.

The partnership with UEFA EURO 2016 is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the very best in European football with fans from all over the world. We very much look forward to the competition and look forward to supporting the Turkish team, and the rest of the competing nations throughout the tournament.”

Turkish Airlines will also have their livery planes decorated with the Euro 2016 visuals. In addition, there will be Turkish Airlines branding presence at the stadiums for the duration of the tournament.

Turkish Airlines is renowned for its varied sponsorship programs throughout the world including headline sponsor for the Turkish Airlines Open. The airline also sponsors a number of European sporting events including the Turkish Airlines Euroleague basketball and European Professional Club Rugby.
