Ladera Resort, St Lucia

LaderaLocated on the southern end of St. Lucia, Ladera Resort sits on a forested ridge at 1,100 feet overlooking UNESCO World Heritage Site, Piton Mountains, and the Caribbean Sea. Ladera was once part of Rabot Estate, a cocoa plantation. In 1982 it was transformed into a resort. Ladera offers 32 suites, each with a private pool. The resort is known for its eco-lodge architecture, built with Caribbean timbers and modeled on luxury tree-house living, and a barefoot lifestyle. The Dasheene Restaurant and Bar offers Saint Lucian and Caribbean specialties. Guests can also have access to bird-watching, scuba diving, snorkeling, sailboat charters, climbing the Pitons, among other activities.
