Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, Finland
Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is a family hotel in Finnish Lapland about 250 km north of the Arctic Circle from where you can admire the Northern Lights. The hotel is open during Northern Lights season, from the third week of August until the end of April. It has grown into two separate East and West ‘Villages’ of cosy log cabin chalets, glass and snow igloos, hybrid log-and-glass igloos, and even gold digger’s chalets. The nearest airport is in Ivalo a 30 minute drive away.
